It’s 5 star service while you’re a customer. I recently changed my provider back to Teksavvy due to the need for a cheaper package and the fact that Teksavvy offers 6 packages in my area compared to Start’s 4 packages. Cancellation ended up being a real pain in my ass. It was supposed to be a transfer. I initiated this process with more than enough time. I told them that I needed specific lead time which was the other ISP’s requirements but that I wanted to have the service with Start till the end of the month since it was paid for. I told them to cancel it the way it needed to be cancelled so that I could properly transition to the other third party internet provider that I was switching to but without losing service time with Start.
However, much has happened since it went up, including the Blogger outage. Scroll down for a report on that. More new posts will be added below this one. The essay below is the conclusion of the ninth part in a series by Takuan Seiyo. See the list at the bottom of this post for links to the previous installments.

Is there really an epidemic of young people not being able to attend post secondary education? Ark2 on February 26, at 7: First the program selection criteria is not tightly coupled to employment markets; second, many academics are antithetical to the very concept; third, intellectual interest is never entirely job focused. Consequently, the distribution of post-secondary graduates and the distribution of employment opportunities never have a 1: One corollary is that some graduates may not fit to employment opportunities; the mathematical compliment is that some employment opportunities are under-supplied.
In any case, what one gets when one attempts to match a resource to a requirement is frequent blackouts — surplus is beneficial. GeraldR on February 27, at The only way that this makes sense is if it allows takers to transition to makers, and if this is not going to lead to people getting better paying jobs then it is nothing more than a distraction in an otherwise ugly budget. Want to go to university? Get a summer job.
Atmospheric conditions[ edit ] For late August standards, August 28 was a very humid, very warm day. The presence of such a high dew point did not necessarily predict a severe thunderstorm outbreak; the prior day, similar conditions existed in northern Illinois with the exception of a warmer mid level troposphere. A warmer atmosphere inhibits the rising of surface air through the atmosphere; a requirement for convective precipitation, that is, precipitation resultant from humid surface air ascending to condense in a cooler atmosphere above, to occur.
This warmer air aloft can describe either, or both, weak lapse rates thus weak instability or a capping inversion.

This includes shifts from state-led implementation of environmental policies to conservation plans that are implemented and managed by multi-sectoral networks of governments, the private sector and environmental non-governmental organizations ENGOs. This paper examines land trusts as private conservation initiatives that become part of neoliberal governance arrangements and partnerships that challenge our conceptions of environmental preservation and democratic participation. The paper starts with an examination of the concept of neoliberalized environmental governance.
Next, it addresses the shifting social constructions of property and land in the context of protecting large scale ecosystems. Through a case study of the extension of new environmental governance arrangements on the Oak Ridges Moraine in Ontario, we examine the relationships that have formed between different levels of the state and environmental non-governmental organizations. Finally, we analyze the expansion of land trusts and private conservation initiatives that are predicated on private land ownership and the commodification of nature, the emerging discourses and practices of private conservation, and how these are implicated in the privatization and neoliberalization of nature.

The truth is, there are so many side track issues, exaggerations and outright misinformation perpetuated by manufacturers and retailers alike that even an intelligent, diligent researcher does not have a hope in hell of making an educated buying decision. For the most part, they are just regurgitating the pitch they got when they bought the line of spas they are selling. The Stuff that really matters The Dealer: Ok first is the Dealer… Trust me here folks… A good industry person with 20 years under their belt who has been under the spas fixing them, selling them and designing them will have made a good choice on the line of spas he carries.

Mon, Oct 01, We signed up for start upon a friend’s recommendation. It has now been a month, and we still don’t have the service. I understand that they have to use the infrastructure of the bigger companies, and that Start doesn’t have control over installation technicians, nevertheless a month is a ridiculous time to wait.
Demand 2 Increase the representation of marginalized communities within faculty, staff and the board of trustee membership. Demand 3 Establish required cultural diversity education sessions and curriculum into the BGSU academic plan. Demand 4 Increase the student organization budget funds allocated to minority student organizations on campus. This is why we are dedicated to the needs of our fellow students and believe we must hold this beloved university to its mission.
As a University we have failed. We have failed our Black students. We have failed our Black professors. We have failed our Black staff members. We have failed our Black community. We, e as a university, must not continue to claim ignorance ofsaid failures. Black students across the nation are standing up against racial injustice on their campuses.
We, as concerned students, need our university to stand with us and to work with us on addressing issues of injustice, as they unfold on our own campus. The only way for this institution to move forward is to address these failures directly.

Albert Vincent Carone is one of those people who spent his life dancing between raindrops and turning invisible wherever a shadow lingered. Al Carone–unlike his near namesake, Al Capone–truly was a paradox wrapped in a mystery concealed behind an enigma. When she got married, her father arranged two different reception rooms to separate the Mob guests from the NYPD guests. But this was more window-dressing than anything else.

Bard College musire more people of color as faculty members, counselors, and administrative staff members. It is unacceptable that the vast majority of professors and staff members are white. People of color muse adequately represented on this campus, especially considering the rising population of black and brown students at this institution. We recognize that part of the job of any university is to prepare students for life beyond the university. As such, it is an act of deliberate negligence that there is no explicit requirement to learn about any form of social justice or anti-racism at this college.
Whether this takes the form of an academic requirement such as a class or an extracurricular requirement such as training each semester , we demand that Bard College come together to ensure that faculty, staff, and students at all levels are able to engage with social justice and anti-racism productively without putting anyone in unsafe or compromising positions.
The goals of this requirement muse made clear to students as it is unacceptable that students at this college fulfill the requirement without even knowing that they have fulfilled the requirement.
